DELIVERY

We use fully-trained hiab lorry drivers to deliver containers to your desired location. These lorries can place a container up to 8m away from the side of the lorry, we will make sure to communicate with you beforehand to ensure sufficient space is available. Our staff will work closely with you to make it a smooth process.

All equipment is normally offloaded off to the side of the vehicle, and a 8m width is required for offloading. It is important we are made aware of any potential difficulties associated with delivery/collection of a unit. Please check the next tab DELIVERY CHECKLIST.

CHECKLIST:

1. Have you sent a site drawing to Lendon Containers?

2. Can your site take a 34’-40’ long x 10’ wide rigid vehicle? (20’units are normally delivered on this type of vehicle)

3. Can your site take 60’-10’ wide artic vehicle? (2 x 20’ or 40’ units are normally delivered on this type of vehicle)

4. Does your site have hard access? (Driving on grass or soft ground must be pre-agreed in advance as our trucks are not designed for this type of terrain)

5. Are there any underground cables? (If you have any underground cables, please advise)

6. Are there any overhead cables? (If you have any underground cables. Please advise)

7. Are any overhanging trees? (If you have any overhanging trees, please advise height)

8. Have you advised Lendon containers of your site opening times? (We cannot normally give an exact delivery time due to traffic conditions on the day of delivery)

9. Repositioning of other containers on site? (Further information is required, as this normally incurs additional costs)

10. Are there any other issues we should be aware of

If we cannot deliver to your site because of access/unloading problems you will unfortunately still be charged for the delivery. Additionally, the driver will allow 1 hour on site to offload, any additional time required due to site conditions or complication which we have not previously been notified of will be charged @£75.oo per hour.

Please note we can only collect, deliver and reposition EMPTY units unless this has been agreed in advance with Lendon Containers.
